Kunanyi

Kunanye or Mount Wellington located in Hobart city comprises of rich wildlife, forest, woodland and even waterfalls. Rising 1,271 metres above sea level, it’s frequently covered with snow, sometimes even in the summer. If you are a fan of bikes, you will be pleased to know that bike tracks are a must go in order to explore this vast mountain.

Great Oyster Bay

The Great Oyster Bay, situated in the Freycinet National Park it’s a place that once you visit, it will always stay in your mind. Formed of pink rocky granite peaks, abundant wildlife and beautiful wineglass bay, this place will make you believe that you are in paradise. Wildlife but mostly birds are very frequently seen around whether you are on the forest or on the beach. The beaches are clean, formed by small bays and bird-filled lagoons. This beautiful place its recommended to be visited at sunrise or sunset when the pink granite glows and fills the eye with colour.

Part of the world heritage area and one of the most visited places in Tasmania, situated in the stunning St Clair National Park, it is part of the Tasmania World Heritage Wilderness Area and the area includes rainforest, ancient plants and plenty of grasslands. This National Park has something to offer to everyone as different difficulties of walks can be selected and there is even a luxury spa within the park.

The Tasman National Park is an area of dramatic beauty and natural diversity. The park is situated in the rugged Tasman Peninsula and it’s famous for its sea cliffs and rock formations including gigantic 300-metre high sea cliffs. This national park has multiple numbers of stunning spots such as Tasman Arch, Waterfalls Bay Blowhole, Devil’s Kitchen and many others. Visitors can expect to see a wide range of beauty and natural diversity including dolerite sea cliffs, brushtail possums, seals, penguins, dolphins, whales, parrots, sea eagles and even the endangered wedge-tailed eagles. For the full experience, it is advisable to camp or stays in accommodation nearby as the park is vast and it will take a few days to properly enjoy all the environment and nature.
